Aloha Days is designed to aid the transition from high school to college and specifically to A&M-CC.
This is an optional program for incoming freshmen intended to establish friendships, learn about on-campus life, meet student leaders, become familiar with A&M-CC traditions, and learn about Islander life in a very relaxed atmosphere. It also allows students to get acquainted through recreation activities, Aloha Olympics and evening mixers.
You also will have plenty of time for socializing. There will be pool time, games, a dance, and plenty of free time. You can spend that time getting to know even more students. And who knows - you may just meet your new best friend.
Aloha Days allows new Islanders to develop a support network consisting of first year students, upper classmen and University staff.
Each year, camp size grows more and more! Will you be part of the group that breaks the attendance record?
Going to the Aloha Days freshman camp is the perfect chance for new Islanders to meet each other before classes start. Students who attend Aloha Days will develop new friendships with current students and University staff, know the benefits and opportunities for leadership and involvement, understand the values of diversity, learn more about themselves, and catch the Islander Spirit!
